Calling all littles of Hillbrook-Tall Oaks neighborhood! Please join us for a fun-filled Children’s Carnival on Saturday, April 20 from 11 am to 2 pm. The event will take place in the playground of the Montessori School of Northern Virginia – Hillbrook Campus.
The community is invited to the 2025 Taste of Annandale on Sept. 20, from 10:30 am to 6 pm. The festival features food and entertainment that showcase the community’s diverse cultures.
Neighbors are invited to join in the Hillbrook–Tall Oaks Civic Association’s annual Oktoberfest celebration, held in conjunction with the neighborhood Halloween Parade.
Action heroes, goblins, witches, monsters, lions, tigers, bears and other creatures may descend on the annual Hillbrook-Tall Oaks Halloween parade.

HTOCA’s annual neighborhood Block Party will be held **Sunday, September 20, from 4–7 PM at 4901 Kingston Drive**, featuring live music by PAPER AIRPLANES, games, and activities for residents of all ages. The free event is a potluck, with families encouraged to bring a dish to share; HTOCA will provide drinks, plates, utensils, napkins, and cups. Food service begins at 4:45 PM, and residents are encouraged to walk when possible, bring portable seating or blankets, and leave pets at home for safety.
