DESCRIPTION:The first of three scheduled leaf pickups in our community is coming soon! The county vacuum truck will be in our neighborhood November 3–7. \n\n\n\nPlease move all leaves to the front curb before collection begins. To ensure a smooth pickup\, do not include large sticks\, tree branches\, rocks\, or metal objects in your leaf piles. Residents are also encouraged to avoid piling leaves in front of storm drains whenever possible. \n\n\n\nOur neighborhood is in Collection District #8. DESCRIPTION:Action heroes\, goblins\, witches\, monsters\, lions\, tigers\, bears and other creatures may descend on the annual Hillbrook-Tall Oaks Halloween parade. The ghostly event starts at 3 pm on Sunday. Participants will start the parade at 5101 Dodson Drive and walk to the Colburn Drive cul-de-sac where you will find food\, treats for kids\, contests\, and more!! \n\n\n\nSo\, put on your best Halloween attire. See if you can impress the judges\, who will present winners with prizes. See if you can guess the weight of the pumpkin. Or\, perhaps you can calculate the number of candy corns in a jar. Parking: there will be no parking in the Colburn Drive cul-de-sac. Walk to this event if you live nearby and watch for children if you are driving.

DESCRIPTION:Neighbors are invited to join in the Hillbrook–Tall Oaks Civic Association’s annual Oktoberfest celebration\, held in conjunction with the neighborhood Halloween Parade. Both events will take place from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m.\, offering a wonderful opportunity for residents of all ages to gather\, meet new neighbors\, and enjoy the afternoon together. \n\n\n\nThe Hillbrook–Tall Oaks Civic Association (HTOCA) will provide a main entrée of brats and hot dogs\, along with water and soft drinks. Residents are encouraged to bring side dishes and desserts to share. For adults\, beer and wine will also be available. \n\n\n\nThe event will be held at the Colburn Drive cul-de-sac. Please note that parking is not available on the cul-de-sac\, so those who live nearby are encouraged to walk. \n\n\n\nJoin your neighbors for an afternoon of good food\, good company\, and community spirit as we celebrate fall at Oktoberfest!
